hahaha i just heard that song the other day ...it always cracks me up! haven't heard it in a long time! so...i'm almost feeling better except my throat keeps hurting....damnit to hell snickers! so i feel like the poster child for lean cuisine now....it was on sale the other day and my mem figured since i have been going to the gym she'd get me a few to help me on my road to skinniness! i opened my freezer in front of ed and i thought he was gonna choak...there's like 20 lean cuisine dinners in there...i said "think they're tryin to tell me something!" lol....it was quite commical....i love my mem! hahaha after all i'm her favorite fat grandkid hahaha! so...are we goin to shannon's this st. patty's day or what? i'm feelin it....don't know what time i'll be there but....i'm requesting no call that day...so no later then 330!!!! i won't know if i can get out earlier until that weeks surgical schedule is posted! but i'm aaaaaaaalll over it!!! it's been a whole year since i've heard the unicorn song and i'm gettin the shakes hahahaha! although i have been jammin out to the dropkick murphy's so it evens out!
so i've had quite a weird week in the OR...we've done two gift of hope tissue donations and man....they are fucked up! but they said usually noone sits and watches and i sat through 2 in one week just hangin out talkin to em...the second one they tried recruiting me lol....if i didn't have to drive all over the place...it'd almost be worth it! but they're kinda like the mail man....no matter rain sleet or snow they always gotta go! and if they think i'm drivin all the way up to wisconsin in a blizzard they're nuts! and the lady said they're really busy lately...which is good and bad depending how you look at it! i'd go into detail about what they do but....ya probably really don't want to hear! i think they decided to ask me if i wanted a job though after i started quoting pinochio after they stuck wooden rods in the legs after taking out the bones lol....it was my award winning sense of humor hahaha! actually a few of the people in the room said..."oh god that's gross...i'm taking my name off the donor list i can't have them do that to me!" i said what the fuck are you gonna care you'll be dead....that one got me a few looks and one "oh that's nice" remark....damn...they need to get used to the fact everyone dies and when your dead...ya kinda don't feel anything anymore hahahaha! actually the worst comment i probably made was....after they take out all the leg bones ...the "flesh" that was once the leg kinda just sits there like a blob of chicken fat...my student said..."what's the funeral home gonna do about the legs?" i said "oh...they just stuff them in a pair of pantyhose like at halloween when ya make a scarecrow !" lol....i got one smack on the arm and someone else giggled but everyone else kinda looked nervous...my student was gullible she took my word as gospel till they put in the rods hahaha...dork! ok well that's my funny story for now
unless ya wanna hear how my new student borrowed a tampon from me and forgot to take the wrapper off before putting it in hahaha!
ok thanks northwest indiana...you've been great...i'll be here all week...or the rest of my life, whichever comes first! hahaha

hey it rhymed! ok so i had a gross moment driving home today...i started coughing so hard i puked on myself in the car! it was nasty! at least it was just a nasty ball of phlegm and not the chinese i ate for lunch...and i managed to catch it in my mitten because i covered my mouth when i was driving...all though i had the mitten over my mouth too tight and it came squirtin out the sides making for a lovely sight hahaha. yeah it wasn't one of my finer moments most definatly! hopefully i'll feel better here soon, cause i'm really tired of being fuckin sick!!!
and that's all i have to say about that!

why is it antibiotics make you feel shittier then when you were sick?! sorry all i haven't been on to read what's going on in your lives...i've been sick! first with strep...then with a cold...now it's a cough from hell accompanied by extreme gi issues...if ya catch my drift! so that's the kinda shit (lol) going on in my life as of late! how is everyone else doing?? les..how's the job and the man? kris how's you and the kid? i know what kele is up to already...no good hahaha! i'm freezin man...freezin i tell ya!
so i joined the gym but it didn't do me any good yet...i was really gettin into it and then i got sick! so now i haven't been in a week ...kinda hard to move around alot when you find it difficult to breathe! so i'm itchin to get back actually! i was doin 3 miles on the eliptical in 35 min or so on and i was on level 10!!! yeah go me! level 10 is kinda in the middle...it goes from 1-20...so that's pretty fuckin good...especially for my fattest of asses!!! hahaha yeah...i'll be wearin a bikini this summer....BAH!!!!!HAHAHAHAHA!!! yeah right ...monkeys are more likely to fly out of my ass....which would probably be a good thing...i mean what am i doin with monkeys in my ass anyway...that probably contributes to size of my ass considerably...no to mention my gi issues hahaha! can you imagine that...sitting at the dinner table and all of a sudden "ooh ooh ahh ahh " "oh may i be excused i need to take a shit! got a stray monkey that wants out...brb!!" hahaha i'm glad i amuse myself sometimes!
ok well for a week i've been ignoring that which is work...so i'm going to go change the kitty litter cause it needs it!

well i'm a boring old person these days! i'm kinda aggrivated cause i don't get to see eddie all that much...but it's ok i'll live through it! things are going really good except for that small issue. monday we're going to house of blues for dinner hopefully...i have gift certs i need to use before they start taking money off of them! that's the stupidest thing i've ever heard though...taking money off the card if it's not used by a certain date! crap i tell you...oh well they're free i can't bitch too much!

my face is breaking out like i'm fuckin 13 again wtf is up with that...maybe it's the stress of knowing greg hasn't ever seen MST3K hahaha jk!

well i finally joined the gym and wouldn't you know it...it's snowed all freakin week like really bad! i get serious anxiety issues when having to drive on snow and ice! ya know i tossed around the idea of going to tech school for like 3-4 years before i actually did it! lately i've been tossing aound the idea of moving to arizona...maybe in 3-4 years i'll actually do it too! unless i get a really big monster truck that can drive through anything...then i'll stick around here lol!

i'm bored...this has actually been a really uneventful weekend...it sucks! i'm too broke to do anything...oooh except i did go ice skating with leslie on friday...yes you heard me correctly...and if you'd like to see the short video and pics...go to myspace i have them posted!

damnit i shouldn' t have used that icon...now i want some fuckin cookies like it's nobodies business and the only thing i have is stupid muffins! wtf...i hate pms...but at least i know what i want! it's alot better then eating everything in the house trying to find something you really want to eat! of course now i will eat everything knowing i don't have what i want...oh well that's way the cookie crumbles huh...mmmm cookies! i could go out and get some...but then i just realized i'm sitting here with this god aweful green mud mask on my face...oh yeah...i look hot!

so my plans this weekend kinda sucked! fri i was supposed to go to a concert...but it snowed too bad for me...and shit just kept poppin up keeping us from going...good thing the tickets were free! so we settled for pizza and a movie! then sat i went to meet my friend sarah at the sunset lounge in portage...it wasn't that bad...but our friend andy copped out on us and after a while we just kinda got bored so we were home by 1030...but we got there at 720ish so that's pretty good...at least i got out for a bit! then today it was super k day....i had to go to the store because my dumb ass made chicken soup and didn't have any chicken stuff to put in it hahaha...which kinda pisses me off cuz if i would have known i was gonna go cookie crazy i would have gotten some and made them...i don't even have a cake mix up there...this sux!
oh well....i need a shower then off to bed....hope everyone else had a more productive weekend!

what is it about the litter box that once you change it, that the cats have to dig for hours in it .....what is there burried treasure at the bottom i wasn't aware of? or was there a special turd they were saving i wasn't aware of and threw out! i mean come on....what is there a hot siamese waiting for them if they tunnel down far enough hahahaha sweet pete...they make the biggest mess i've ever seen! and you'd think..."oh just put one of those covers over the top with the little door to keep litter from flyin everywhere" yeah right...did that...they wouldn't go near it! go figure! little shits!
well i feel slightly better today....whoopedy doo....still have a cough...still hackin up lung butter...but at least i got up and decided to be productive today....did dishes, laundry...cooked muffins, roast, and made lullabell chilli....poor pooch
yeah the ignorant neighbors have another dog it seems....i went out to give lullabell the kitty bed they never use hoping it would keep her a little warmer since she was outside all damn night....and their dog (not on a leash) took off runnin to see me so i went back in the house and it took off towards the front...ignorant fuckers! i feel so sorry for my puppy...she gets so excited to see me when i come outside to bring her something to eat but she won't let me pet her...still to skiddish! she gets close enough to lick my hand to say thank you and then goes to eat. but she's happy as a pig in shit with her little cardboard makeshift dog house i have for her...she has a comforter and now a doggie bed i'm hoping she stays somewhat warm...i mean i know dogs are supposed to be able to tolerate the cold more then humans but this is just inhumain! i just want to take her in but i know she's got to have bugs of some sort whether it be worms or fleas...and i can't afford to take her to the vet to get her all fixed up. and i know if i don't then she'll get the cats sick too and then i'll be in a world of hurt! so for now....lullabell just stays in her box in my back yard....so if anyone knows of anyone who would like a very sweet but slightly skiddish pooch tell them to come get her! i'm dredding having to call the pound because i'm sure they'll put her to sleep and i know the jackass will just say it's not his dog....hell it looks more like my dog and like i'm being inhumain despite my efforts to keep her..well alive! lol....oh well...if she's made it this far hopefully she will make it through the winter after that the summer will be ok. maybe i can find her a good home with someone who can take care of her then! *sniff* ok nuff whinning think i'm going to go do planks or something

for those who are wondering the title is a line from 200 cigarettes...good movie makes me giggle! so...week one of the gym has come to an end...out of 5 days i will have went 3 ..the week isn't over yet really...but that's pretty good considering i'm a fat lazy p.o.s. hahaha! so now i feel like someone ran over me with a truck...lol i said that to double d this morning and he said "not funny" i had to think about it...he was hit by a car in 3rd grade and in a full body cast for most of the school year....i giggled and said "no it wouldn't be funny if i said i felt like i was run over by some chick in an orange mustang" he giggled even though it was a really bad joke hahaha...he knew i was kidding! whew!

so anyway...i'm trying to remember what my workout routine was and since i have a mental block against working out i'm finding it hard to do hahaha...and for the record... 64 oz of water is not recommended for long surgical cases!!! yeah...i tried getting in my recommended water intake the other day and thought i was going to piss in my pants by the time someone got in to relieve me! i was almost about to beg my nurse to put in a fuckin foley! oh and anyone thinking about loosing weight..DO NOT try taking alli....from what i understand it causes you to shit your pants all the time because it blocks your fat intake...don't know about you but i shit enough as it is i don't feel like doin it more! one of the girls at work is taking it...which is fuckin stupid because she's actually skinny she's just dating an ignorant guy who tells her she's fat and she's on a quest to be everyones center of attention....i can't stand people like that....fake ppl drive me nuts...

ok guys so totally wish me luck with the new guy....he's freakin great! i should have stayed with him in 5th grade lol...(to correct myself, he had a crush on me in 5th not 3rd...i forgot in 3rd he was hit by a car and in a full body cast most of the year!!!)...i have so much fun with him and we don't even have to be doing anything but watchin tv...of course i have yet to make it through a movie but....high five on that one lol hahahaha! we have the same kind of personality...he seems to be able to get along with my friends even though he has yet to meet any of you guys...sorry just haven't gotten the chance to get together with ya yet! he's got a great job making good money...although with past bf's you all know that's not a major issue for me...but it's really nice! and since we have known each other for so long...and he's pretty much stayed in whiting...i (for the most part) know all his friends...it's so neat! lol!!! i'm so excited i could pee!!! i know you're all proabably waiting for the ball to drop though hahahaha actually as gay as it sounds...i'm really optimistic (sp) about this one!!! so put in a good word for me with the deity of your choice that this one works out for me!!!

so...first i'd like to say congrats to leslie for obtaining a fuckable male speciman hahaha!!! jk...congrats on the new man girly!!!
and now i'd like to announce that i myself have started seeing someone...yes just one!!!! whoo hoo...yes we're in highschool again and we're "seeing" each other...well to me anyway...i ,like leslie, am going to wait for him to admit i'm his gf before i assume too much...but things are going very well!! his name is eddie...and get this...he's got a job WHOO HOO!!!! lol and not just any job a pretty damn good job! he works as an operator at bp in whiting...and how convienient he lives like 2 blocks away from my gram lol hahaha...actually i was tellin kris last night that we kinda have a cute story....
eddie and i both grew up in whiting....we've known each other since about 1st grade....in 3rd grade i hung out with his cousin alot....and he developed a bit of a crush on me....me and sheila (his cousin) used to be crossing gaurds (yes from crossing gaurd to hall monitor...i just can't win for loosin!) and most every morning eddie would sit with us on our corner and wait for us to finish and then walk us back to school...he'd usually get in trouble for being late because he wasn't a gaurd lol...but it was cute. for xmas he gave me the most god aweful porcelin clown statue..which i'm now on a mission to find...i want to see if i still have it somewhere...i did keep it for the longest time but i'm sure by now it's been dumped somewhere...but if i still have it that would be soo cool! hahaha...anyway....after grade school we kinda went our seperate ways....he had his friends i had mine.
we saw each other again at the highschool reunion...it was kinda funny...i wore the dress that i had on in the pics with leslie...so yeah..i was about the only freak there lol but i didn't care...i saw eddie there and was kinda diggin him...he had a long gotee and a few more piercings then he has now...but when i went to talk to him he kinda introduced me to his wife who was givin me god aweful daggers because her husbands eyes kinda lit up and he was having trouble controlling his flirting lol! so i really didn't talk to him much that night but i did remember saying to erika that it was a waste him being married to her lol...she was a bit of a plain jane... so anyway a few weeks ago he found me on myspace and decided to say hi and let me know he was divorced...and we've been talkin ever since...i mean how cool is that!
so now i keep teasin him sayin...ya know if we had started dating in 3rd grade by the time we were 58 we could be celebrating our 50th anniversary lol hahahaha i'm kiddin of course but it's still funny!

ok so i think i'm having a gallbladder attack so noone ask me to go do anything fun like ...going out for pizza or anything...cuz i'm starvin...and all i want is grease cuz i'm bleedin like a stuck pig!!!! i know ...you all wanted to hear that lol....god i hurt and it sucks donkey balls!!! so i was on call xmas eve....and i got called in go figure....are you kids ready for the latest edition of the penis chronicals!!! lol
so i had to go in xmas eve because some guy got an infection ....yep i had to go in for an incision and drainage of a scrotal absess with ...get this...removal of a penile implant! yes ...i love my job...so he wasn't too terribly old...but he was diabetic. the man was in the medical profession and requested we do a spinal for the proceedure...not a problem...so now not only are we rippin into this mans nuts roto routin around down there...he's awake while we're doing it!!! now the doc has just told him he's lucky he didn't have gangrene and we didn't have to take out anything but the implant....and that we suctioned out about 200 cc's of puss...yum.....and what does the pervert ask....
"so are you puttin another one back in tonight?" me and the doc just kinda looked at each other then he explained why he would have to wait a few months...and the guy was like "well...alright...but you let me know as soon as we can get the new one in....but you do what you gotta do" i was like hey desperado!!! someone wants a piece of ass god damn!!!
so did everyone have a good holiday??!! i got a spice rack...yes it was from my mom!!! but it was actually one of the better presents she's gotten me....i won't have to put it next to the golf clubs and the scuba suit in the closet!!! hahaha i'll actually use this one

so i'm watching cartoon network while i'm cleaning (except for my occasional sit down on the puter) and there's all these cartoons that are showing kids the joy and spririt of the holiday...and everyone is sweet and giving and nice...what a crock of shit! noone is really like that are they?
these days it's all about whatcha got or what your getting...the world is materialistic and noone "gives" anything away lol...there's always a price whether it be mental, physical, or cashable lol!!!! i just find it kinda funny i guess i don't know why...not that it's not good to teach kids these things...and i guess they should get it from somewhere because with the exception of kris i think everyone has probably fucked up their children in some capacity or another lol...at least to the point where they are jaded enough that they aren't going to bake strangers cookies and stand on street corners to pass them out lol
times have changed haven't they...and i'll pardon myself now...cause honestly i'm babbling and really aren't sure what i'm talking about...i'm sure somewhere in there...there's a point...just not sure what it is at this moment!

so someone asked me today how many cats did i have...and i told them 3 and explained to them that yes...i border on the fine line of becoming a crazy cat lady...all i needed was a big fluffy robe. and then i proceeded to tell him that i only have a red chinese silk robe with dragons on it...and then i thought...my god i'm the generation x version of the crazy fuckin cat lady!!! yeah...now she'll be referred to as the crazy FUCKIN cat lady...i mean why be pc about it...and she'll sit around all day in a red silk dragon robe and knee high combat boots watchin indie movies covered in cat fur! ok so i wear slippers in the shape of chuck taylors but i'm not fuckin far off!!!! HOW FREAKIN SAD IS THAT!!!!
ok so now i'm going to go drown my sorrows in spaghettio's maybe that'll make me feel better...although probably not because i don't like the meatballs just the meatball flavor....the meatballs are squishy and made of horse meat and have eyes...so i feed them to the cats...and they know they're getting them...which just brings me back to the whole i'm a crazy fuckin cat person! i might as well start up a collection ...anyone know anyone giving some away lol...i can do with a new litter hahaha might as well bring em all up together lol..

ya gotta kinda sing that subject to patsy clines "crazy" lol....don't ask why just do it lol! ok so i'm waaay freakin tired and i worked some of the weirdest cases today...i mean nothing medical science can't explain weird just...i got stuck workin with all the docs that don't normally come to south doing cases that noone ever does! just a weird day! and i have pms so i'm eating everyone out of house and home!! ok so maybe just myself but still! but i feel slightly accomplished...i mailed one bill...did one load of laundry...changed the litter boxes and attempted to fix my leaky sink...but since i'm on here we all know how that went! oh well no biggie...i'm totally gonna have to start drinkin decaf tea and see if it tastes the same...all the tea i drink is making me sleep for crap...and i've been drinkin alooooot of it as of late...cuz it' s cheap and easy to make lol. oh well ...i don' t have anything interesting to say so....

ok so it's been weeks since i had a funny testicle story from the OR!!! ok so i feel sorry for the old man because he has prostate ca and is now getting his testicles removed...why i don't know so don't ask...his doc is one of those little asain hunched over old men that you can't understand a word he says so i don't ask questions if i don't have to!
so anyway...poor old man gets wheeled into the OR...he's 81...lived a good life i suppose...i mean getting cancer at 81 he's lived a full life...so i feel bad but not as bad as i could...not to mention i'm sleep deprived!
so the patient goes to sleep and my nurse starts removing all his blankets...gets her prep ready and last but not least turns back his gown....silence....
this 81 year old snaggle tooth asian man has some fucked up kama sutra piture tattooed on his stomach!!! and it's not just some small little pic...it looked like some jail house tattoo of a man with a womans legs wrapped around his back and he's fuckin her...and it goes from the base of his penis all the way to just past his belly button!!!! wtf is that!!! i couldn't stop laughin...and then the doc comes in and starts to look at it and is his goofy little voice (now picture someone makin fun of a chinese person saying something like...ooh you been here for hour you go home...or aaaavewy nise...that's how he talks but worse!) says something to the tune to what the hell is that! and starts to giggle
so marcy stops critiquing the mans work of art and starts to prep him...now we're removing his testicles so she has to prep mr winky too....why did creepy old asian guy have a prosthetic winky!!!! it just added to the tattoo
do you know how hard it is to drape someone when they're pitchin a permanent tent!!!
it was almost worth coming in to work for lol!
well kids i must get sleep...i have yet to be to bed yet...i'm going to drug myself and try the whole low census thing again tomorrow....hopefully they won't call me in again!!!

wtf fuck is up with the weather!!! i'm so glad i' m not on call this weekend or i'd be sleeping at the hospital right now! how sucky is that! this is crazy madness i tell you!!! it's almost 5 am and the snow is half way up my tires...do you know how much shoveling i'm going to have to do to unbury my freakin car??!! crazy ...crazy i tell ya!!!
well i probably should go to sleep...good news is i don't have to work on monday whoo hoo let's hear it for low census!!! down side is i have to use my pto if i want to get paid but whatever i get a day off!!!
i've had a crappy week ...or more like a busy week! it's deductable season which means everyone and their brother is getting shit done before the first of the year because their deductables are met and insurance will pay...it sucks
not to mention kids will be out of school soon...do you know how many tonsils i have to take out over christmas!!! if i saved them all i could make ornaments out of them lol. how freakin sick is that lol!!!
so are we going to have a little xmas get together...i think we should! maybe do a little pot luck ...nice little dinner and maybe a board game or something like that! listen to a little xmas music wear red green and black lol...that's about as festive as i like to get lol! i'm offering to have it here unless someone has a better idea...i will lock the cats up for you kris and maybe i'll even get some fabreeze with allergy control!!! well let me know!!!

so sorry i haven't posted anything for a while...i was seeing someone for all of 2 weeks....and now i'm not and that's all there is to say about that! so i just wanted to tell everyone i was back and sorry for ignoring everyones posts...i haven't been on in a looooong while. hope everyone is having a merry xmas and all that shtuff! lol

ok well i suppose it would be theraputic if i gave thanks about shit so maybe i won't be so bitter and angry lol so here goes....
     -i'm thankful i have a job...and my hosital is back up and running
     -i'm thankful i have the best friends in the whole world even though i'm obviously not making some of the best choices in the company i keep ...for like 3 years running lol
     -i'm thankful dinner was only slightly painful and i got out without any fights or knock down drag outs...literally!
     -i'm thankful i wasn't the only one who gained weight...it kinda looks like everyone in the family got fuckin fatter...so it made my day!!
     -and i'm thakful that i got to spend time with my geeky little brother lol!! it's hilarious how we've been apart for so long...and the only influence i ever had on him was when he was too young to remember it... still he's like a little me lol...even his gf couldn't believe how much alike we are lol!!! hehehe i got my lil brother back na na na na na na lol!

well i've been sitting in this room a majority of the fuckin day...between the computer and scrapbooking...which i didn't get much done...just alot sorted lol ....but my back hurts and i need a nap since i'm on 24 hour call...its getting back to normal at work but even with it getting busy...it's still better being busy at home then somewhere else lol! of course noone remembers how to forward the phones....and what everyones extentions are...hahaha we'll all be complaining again though ...give it a week lol

or cold...depends how you look at it! me and leslie had a fuckin blast today....we went to the old methodist church in gary to do some photos....they turned out great in my opinion...and will look even better after les does her thang to em! the only draw back was there was some people there making a senior class movie project...so we were polite and confined ourselves to one half of the church as not to disturb anything....i just wish more of you would have been there...but leslie and i are making a list of cool pics we wanted to take...and props we needed like lanterns and such so when we go again we'll be set! it actually wasn't as bad as i thought....i managed to walk around in 4 inch platform shoes....so it's all good! we took some very cool pics there though...i can't wait till she works her photoshop magic! still would have been better with more people there...more people to be in the pics...it was just her and i....that was the only sucky part though...the place is oddly beautiful! and if ya need any clothes or shoes there's plenty there lol! you'll see in the pics hahaha
and then we went to the merrillville cemetary....we still weren't warm from walking around without coats on in the church...especially me since i just had on the equivalent to a tank top on my upper half! at the cemetary it was getting late and les got to cold for a wardrobe change lol ...so we took a few of me which didn't look that bad...and then we thought someone was gonna bust us out so we decided to call it a day and took off...
oh god yes i almost forgot...the beginning to the cool day...we stopped by the pink pussycat and got me a pic! i was so excited lol....me and les decided if we ever got any money we'd buy it and make it into a burlesque club lol
but that's all the excitement i can handle for one day now...i'm freakin whopped lol
